Seeing is Believing (SiB), a partnership between Standard Chartered Bank and the International Agency for Prevention of Blindness, is a global initiative to help tackle avoidable blindness.

Seeing is Believing – A New Vision will invest USD 20 million in sustainable eye-care services for 20 million people across 20 cities.

The Mission: working in partnership with leading eye-care Non Governmental Organisations, SiB will fund the development of sustainable eye-care services in less advantaged areas of 20 cities, giving poor, marginalised populations access to cataract surgery, preventative treatment and specialised medical interventions.

Our target is to raise USD 10 million by 2013. This will be matched by Standard Chartered Bank to make a USD 20 million investment.
